Snell-Rivalsky Consulting LLC is an organizational development and change management firm focused on helping leaders and teams scale with clarity, alignment, and purpose. Snell-Rivalsky Consulting is led by experienced practitioners with backgrounds in organizational development, project management, coaching, and financial and operational strategy. Our team brings a combination of corporate, consulting, and entrepreneurial experience, allowing us to understand both the strategic and practical realities organizations face.

We have worked with and supported initiatives within Fortune 500 and high-growth organizations, contributing to large-scale transformation efforts, internal audit and advisory projects, and cross-functional process improvement initiatives. This experience enables us to bring enterprise-level thinking and structure while maintaining the agility and personalization of a boutique firm.

Our Team

Lia Snell -MOD, CAPM

Lia Snell is an Organizational Development Practitioner, executive coach, and process improvement and systems strategist who helps people and teams navigate change with clarity, creativity, and purpose. From local organizations to global engagements, her work reflects a commitment to building systems that are both effective and human-centered.

Lia began her career in the tech startup space in Columbus, where she spent four years working in high-growth environments and contributing to two successful sales of tech assets. This experience shaped her ability to build scalable systems, lead through ambiguity, and translate vision into execution.

She specializes in the facilitation of change initiatives and process improvement, bringing both strategic rigor and human-centered insight to her work. Lia is a certified coach and is especially passionate about empowering teams to achieve synergy in creative and evolving spaces.

She is currently leading a large-scale research project in the AI space, focused on how individuals and organizations sustain agency, adaptability, and meaningful work in AI-augmented environments.

As co-owner and founder of Snell-Rivalsky Consulting and Co-Intelligence Coaching and Research Institute. Lia focuses on catalyzing innovation, strengthening collaboration, and helping organizations build cultures where people can thrive. She also serves as an executive coach for Young Professionals, supporting the next generation of leaders as they navigate growth in an increasingly complex, AI-driven world.

Lia is actively involved in community leadership and serves on several boards and initiatives, including Friends of C.A.S.A. of Wood County. Her work is deeply rooted in creating systems that support individuals navigating challenging circumstances with limited resources.

Outside of work, you’ll find Lia at a live concert or at the pottery wheel.

John Rivalsky-CPA

John Rivalsky remains a co-founder of the firm and is currently inactive due to his government service.

From local organizations to global engagements, John’s work reflects a commitment to building systems that are both effective and sustainable.

John brings over eight years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, and consulting. He began his career as an auditor at PwC before joining JPMorgan Chase’s Controllership Group. He later served as a Senior Financial Analyst at a Fortune 500 manufacturing company and went on to take an accounting advisory role at CFGI.

Across each of these roles, John developed deep expertise in technical accounting, financial analysis, and advisory services, along with a reputation for precision, discipline, and thoughtful problem-solving.

He earned his B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Ohio University’s College of Business and is a licensed CPA, scoring an average of 95 across all sections of the CPA exam.

John and Lia share a commitment to sustainable business practices and future-focused work. He recently contributed to an ESG fund development project for a Fortune 500 company and is motivated by work that creates long-term, meaningful impact.

Outside of the office, John enjoys mountain biking, playing soccer, and listening to podcasts
